Where Do Unsold Clothes Go? Reinvent Boutique’s Commitment to Sustainability
At Reinvent Boutique, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword—it’s at the heart of everything we do. When clothing comes into our store, we do everything possible to give it a second life. But what happens to the items that don’t sell? Instead of letting them go to waste, we have a thoughtful process to ensure they continue to serve a purpose.
Supporting the Cancer Society
When an item doesn’t sell within its consignment period, we offer consignors the option to have their clothing donated rather than taking it back. All of our unsold clothing donations go directly to the Cancer Society, a cause incredibly close to my heart.
Cancer affects us all—whether it’s a family member, a friend, or even our own personal journey. It’s a disease that doesn’t discriminate, and the impact it has on individuals and families is profound. By donating to the Cancer Society, I hope to support the essential work they do, from funding research to providing care and resources for those facing this challenging battle.
All items donated help contribute to this vital cause, ensuring that those affected by cancer receive the support they need. It’s my small way of giving back and honouring those who have fought, are fighting, or have lost their battle to cancer.
By supporting Reinvent Boutique, you’re not just shopping—you’re making a conscious choice to help the planet and support a community-driven approach to fashion. Together, we can create a more sustainable and stylish future.
