My Reinvent Story

For 20 years, I worked in the corporate world, deep in the technology sector—a heavily male-dominated industry where I often felt unseen and unfulfilled. Then, during the COVID-19 lockdown, everything changed. Working from home gave me the space to reflect, and I had an epiphany: I wasn’t where I was meant to be.

At the time, I had a small side hustle—selling my own extensive corporate wardrobe and helping my friends do the same. But in that moment of clarity, I made the bold decision to quit my job and give Reinvent Boutique my all.

The first thing I did was contact every woman I knew and told them to clean out their wardrobes. Reinvent Boutique was born—not just as a consignment store, but as a space where women could find clothing that truly made them feel good. I knew I had found my purpose: working with women, empowering them through fashion, and helping them see themselves in a new light.

Too often, I see women brushing off compliments, criticising their own bodies, and hiding behind clothes that don’t serve them. My mission is to change that. Through Reinvent Boutique, I want women to embrace their beauty, accept compliments with confidence, and feel truly comfortable in their own skin.

And now, something even bigger is on the horizon. I can’t share all the details just yet, but let’s just say… something exciting is coming soon to help you feel even more confident and empowered in what you wear. Watch this space! 😉
